Interactive Cyber Exercise at Den Haag Inspireert: the Dark Side of AI

Den Haag inspireert! Cybercrisis Cyberoefenen

On Friday, June 13, CCRC will be present at the inspiration and networking event Den Haag Inspireert! at the Fokker Terminal. During this annual event for entrepreneurs and employers from The Hague and the region, we will provide an interactive session on a topic that is becoming increasingly urgent: the downside of AI in digital security .

Smart Security = Saving Money

AI opens doors to unprecedented innovation. But in the wrong hands, it poses a real danger. In our session “Smart Security = Saving Money. The Dark Side of AI” we take participants through a realistic scenario where AI is used by cybercriminals – think of deepfakes, manipulative emails or video messages that are indistinguishable from real ones.

Not Theory, But Action

During this interactive exercise, participants take the helm themselves. What do you do when you receive a “live” deepfake from your financial director with an apparently legitimate assignment? How do you act as a team? What signals should you recognize? The exercise is specially developed for entrepreneurs and managers in SMEs – no technical background required.

Using a hands-on approach, we (Kelvin Rorive and Sarah Warm) bring the digital threat to life. We conclude the session with concrete advice that you can immediately put into practice within your organization.

Why Participate?

SME organizations are becoming an increasingly attractive target for cyber attacks. With the use of AI, these attacks are becoming faster, smarter, and more credible. Understanding how to recognize and resist these can make the difference between safe business operations or significant damage.
