NFIR and CCRC extend collaboration: Stronger together in digital resilience.

For the third consecutive year, CCRC and NFIR are extending their collaboration to make organizations more digitally resilient. NFIR specializes in cybersecurity and provides technical and organizational support to help organizations become more resilient against digital threats. With this collaboration, both parties continue to commit to preparing organizations for the challenges of the digital world. NFIR and CCRC support the public and private sectors with knowledge, training, and exercises in the field of cybersecurity.

Why NFIR and CCRC collaborate

NFIR works on strengthening digital resilience within organizations. This includes assistance with cyber incidents, digital forensic investigations, real-time monitoring of IT systems, and identifying vulnerabilities through penetration testing. In addition, NFIR offers training, lectures, awareness programs, and demonstrations to increase awareness around cybersecurity.

The Cyber Crisis training is a key component of the collaboration. During these sessions, participants learn how to respond to a large-scale cyber incident. The training focuses on improving crisis management and providing immediately applicable strategies.

Importance of a Cyber Security partner

Cyber incidents can occur unexpectedly. Therefore, it is crucial to establish agreements with a specialized partner who ensures support and helps with thorough preparation. Every organization can call NFIR 24/7 for cyber attacks, but with the Incident Response Retainer, organizations are guaranteed that the Computer Emergency Response Team will take immediate action.

In addition to this support, NFIR emphasizes the importance of practice and preparation. By participating in training programs such as the CyberCrisis training, organizations can respond better to attacks and act more quickly.

Implementation of the collaboration

The collaboration between NFIR and CCRC includes, among other things, organizing cyber crisis training sessions. In October, NFIR, CCRC, and Centric collaborated to provide training for the public sector. Participants practiced with realistic scenarios and learned how to respond effectively as a team. Such training not only improves response but also strengthens collaboration within teams.

Free handbook for cyber resilience

To further support organizations, CCRC offers the handbook “Cyber Crisis? Geen Paniek!” for free. This practical handbook contains valuable insights and advice to enhance the digital resilience of organizations.
