On September 10 and 11, Cybersec Netherlands, the trade event for cybersecurity and digital resilience, will take place. Professionals from public and private sectors will share insights on current threats and solutions. CCRC will be present with an interactive booth and will engage in discussions about resilience across departments and chains – from IT to management.

The free Cyber Crisis training, including a meal, offers entrepreneurs valuable tools to prevent a cyber attack and limit the damage in case of a hack. NFIR, CCRC and Centric invite you to an interactive cyber crisis training, specially designed for the public sector. Don’t panic! Know what to do after a cyberattack. In collaboration with the Municipality of The Hague, CCRC is organizing a cyber crisis training on Monday, September 30. During the training, discover how to effectively manage cybersecurity. Cybersecurity is no longer just the domain of the IT department; it is the responsibility of the management. In collaboration with the municipality of The Hague, CCRC is organizing a Cyber Boost Session on Wednesday, June 5. A previous session during Hack the Hague was a great success! Make sure you are there (again) this time. As an entrepreneur, do you know what to do in case of a cyber crisis? During this three-hour interactive session, you will learn, together with experts and other entrepreneurs, how to act in case of a cyber crisis in a supply chain.

During this event, where Kelvin Rorive from CCRC is present as a speaker, you’ll have the opportunity to listen to experts addressing various aspects of cyber resilience. Kelvin will discuss managing a cyber crisis within and with the supply chain, highlighting the challenges of cyberattacks via suppliers and the setup of a crisis exercise program. The aim is to measure and improve resilience.

In collaboration with CCRC, the VMRG offers an interactive cyber crisis exercise for management and anyone responsible for security. Participants are presented with a realistic exercise scenario. In this session, small groups will experience and learn what is involved in handling a cyber crisis, guided by a specialist.

This practical training, guided by experienced cybersecurity professionals from the Cyber Chain Resilience Consortium (CCRC), gives you the opportunity to prepare for potential cyberattacks, with an emphasis on limiting damage and, more importantly, preventing such attacks.

Entrepreneurs are interesting targets for cybercriminals, especially small and medium-sized businesses, because they generally take fewer measures to ensure digital security. This makes you vulnerable. Therefore, increase the cyber resilience of your organization as quickly as possible. As an entrepreneur, you can participate in the Cyberh@cktic training for free.

This session is offered by the Platform Safe Entrepreneurship Rotterdam Region, SME Rotterdam-Rijnmond, Cyber Network South Holland Islands and is made possible in part by the SME Deal Digitalization ZHD (an initiative of the province of South Holland and the regional municipalities of Hoeksche Waard, Goeree-Overflakkee, Nissewaard and Voorne aan Zee).

Besides being an afternoon where you learn a lot about keeping your business cyber-secure, it’s also incredibly fun to participate. The focus of the sessions was on practical application: what if your company is confronted with a cyber incident? Entrepreneurs put themselves in the shoes of the crisis team of the fictional company Bike4you.

One in five entrepreneurs falls victim to a cyberattack. For example, many entrepreneurs in Amstelveen became victims of a computer support company. They entrusted their internet and telephone services to the system administrator, who then, without permission, put all contracts in their own name and collected large sums through direct debit.

The ONE Conference offers a plenary program on both days, with optional breakout sessions in smaller groups. A wide range of topics is covered, from highly technical subjects such as malware detection, incident response, and law enforcement matters to less technical topics, including public-private sector collaboration, governance, recent cybersecurity research, and of course, cyber exercises in the chain!

On Monday, October 2, 120 professional hackers and students tested various systems of the municipality and its suppliers for their digital security at the city hall of The Hague.

“De Anders Werken” Summit was ready to take you on an inspiring journey through the new world of alternative working methods. The summit is the ultimate knowledge platform and meeting place for HR, IT, and facility managers.

After an interesting and informative introduction by CCRC about cyber incidents and their organizational aspects, participants will work on fictional cyber incidents: how do you deal with them? How do you respond with the crisis team? What steps do you take or avoid? All of this to increase awareness about cybersecurity!

On Tuesday, May 9, the Digital Trust Center (DTC) celebrates its 5th anniversary. The DTC was established in 2018 as a program within the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy and has since played an important role in driving cybersecurity among Dutch businesses.

Eric-Jan de Roode kicks off the session with an inspiring opening speech, followed by Kelvin Rorive, who takes us into the world of cybercrime and shows us how cybercriminals think. Subsequently, Menno Jansen shares his practical experiences and participants can ask all their questions.

During this Cyber boost session at Focusplaza organized by CCRC Kelvin Rorive, the participants are on the edge of their seats. Several entrepreneurs examine how Cybersecurity is organized in their organization during this session. It is unanimously recognized that practicing a cyber crisis, together with your chain partners, is very necessary.
